Setting Date & Filesize Limits?
Afternoon all, how is it that one goes about only backing up files that fall within a certain date range and/or filesize? For example let's say that I want to backup only files modified after April 1 2010 and are less than 1024MB in size, how would I set that up? I wasn't able to locate this is the help and it's essential to the way I must backup my material. Thank you for your time.

Hi Colin, thank you for your tip! :) I have tried several other backup packages as well and you are correct that this functionality seems to be mysteriously absent from all! Maybe I need to consider a different approach to how I should backup then. Basically my issue is that I have my computer with about 7TB of data to backup. I also have roughly the same amount in spare hard drives for backing up all that data (about 20 hard drives total, gahhhh). It's quite a mess really. Right now what I do is copy all the material from my computer to the hard drives. This process takes about 3-4 days and requires my presence to swap the drives. I only do this complete backup every 6 months or so since it takes so long. However the data on my computer does not change that much over time, for example in 3 months there might be only 25GB of NEW or changed data.
I have a personal server with several hundred gigabytes of space, perfect for this application. What I would like to do is have only the NEW data from my computer copied over to the server automatically everyday or so. It seems Acronis is so close to being able to do this except that it requires I have a "base" backup already in place which would mean I'd have to have 7TB of space on my server. Even if I did have that space on my server it would take 35-40 days to backup with the speed of my network. This is where my question originates from, if I could tell it to only backup the data from X date (being when I last did a full backup onto my many hard drives) then everything would be solved.
But perhaps there is a better way to go about this I am oblivious to! I'm sure I can't be the first with this problem... maybe, lol. Thanks for your time!
