Upload speed Acronis 2016
I am using Acronis 2013.
I store my backup/mirrors on a separate HD and backup them in the cloud with Livedrive.
The upload speed is about 16 Mbit/sec.
I have a fiber line and upload speed 250 Mbit/sec (30MB)
I want to try Acronis 2016 with cloud. However what can I expect as upload speed?
Can I store my backup (.tib) files on my HD as well in the cloud
Can I install trial Acronis 2016 beside my Acrinis 2013 without conflicts so I can see what the upload speed is.
My desktop has Windows Vista 64 and all updates

@Evert,
You cannot have both 2013 and 2016 installed. In fact, I'd recommend you uninstall 2013, use the Acronis Cleanup Utiliy, reboot before you install 2016. You can always create a backup with 2013 before you upgrade and come back.
Your upload speed will vary, you will have to try.
With 2016, you can backup to the cloud directly as a backup destinatioin. You can also "archive" local TIB files to the Acronis Cloud, or sync them to the Acronis Cloud.
I personally don't like the idea of synching or copying large files to the Cloud that I might need in a hurry, and prefer rotating local storage for these files. Even if you upload speed is high 10mb/s or higher, it is in the range of 1 MB/S at best, which is 50 times slower than local UBS 3.0 storage or NAS.
It seems that 2016 is much better at taking advantage of network bandwidth, Maybe a combination of Win10 and Acronis 2016, I don't know for sure, generates this increase.

Yes, if i use the Backup feature.
No, if i use the Sync feature.
If i use the Backup feature to back up files to the cloud the upload time is almost twice as fast when comparing it to the speed i get when using the Sync feature. For me TI2014 had better upload speed when i used the Sync feature.
I think it is because the Sync in TI2016 feature lacks the upload speed option "Maximum (Experimental option)" and the ability to set the "Data Center". Both options are aviable in the settings for backups in TI2016 when you upload to the cloud. :)

I don't know that I'd really want to upload my tib files...much too large. Also, I refuse to keep sensitive data on any servers that I don't control. Never know when Obama's going to pass an executive order that confiscates all online data (heh!). As Pat L states, rotating storage is a better bet. I use USB docks and multiple Bare HDs that I copy my images to. I rotate the drives and keep one in a safe deposit box offsite. I also copy to an onsite server.
I always wait until the newest version has been out a while to let some of the bugs get taken care.
But if you really want to try 2016, I suggest that you make a full image of the affected partitions using 2013, then follow Pat's procedure. That way, if things go south with 2016, you can merely restore your 2013 image and wash your hands of 2016 without consequence.

I contacted my ISP and upgraded my upload speed from 10 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s and see upload speed up to 99 Mbit/s when using TI2016. I am happy with that! :)
