0xc0000225 Error

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I just enabled "F11 on startup" for my Vaio Tap 11 (Windows 10) but it becomes 0xc0000225 Error after reboot. Can anyone help me how to troubleshoot it?

I do not have any recovery disc for my Vaio but tried using my desktop PC's recovery disc, it seems like totally unreadable on the USB port.

Looking forward for your help. Thanks

Are you completely locked out of your Vaio...will not boot at all?

Or are you locked out only  when you hit F11 in the boot sequence?

Thanks for your comment.
I completely logout and having problem to reboot even though I press F11 and so called window key :(

Hi FtrPilot,

Thanks for the effort to help me earlier, would like to update you that i managed to troubleshoot it.

There's a window button on my monitor, and also make use of my desktop pc's recovery disk to reboot. As both computers are different disk or partitions, so restored back to the last backup once managed to access windows.

Once again, thank you :)

What happens if you don't press F11?  Does your Vaio boot? Do you get the error message?  If your computer does not boot at all, you need to contact Acronis Support.

You can send a PM to Anna Trifonova or Dmitry Nazarov.

If your computer does boot, without pressing F11, then you will need to uninstall ATI2016 and reinstall ATI2016.  The link below discusses how to uninstall ATI2015, however, the same process applies to ATI2016.

Please let me know how you proceed.  I will help any way I can.

Congratulations on resolving your issue.

Hi FtrPilot,

Thank you for all the information given especially I'm new in Acronics.

In fact, it didn't boot at all regardless of with and without pressing F11 even though pressing keyboard's window key. But just curious that why my desktop computer able to enable F11 Startup but Vaio having problem once enabled. Anyway, since managed to solved it so would ignore the F11 startup features,
just restart the system if any recovery required.

Once again, thank you for your time and advises.

Cheers :)
