Using Acronis in my small PC repair business

Thread needs solution

Hi, had a quick question. I have heard a lot of good things about your software and would ike to use it as my main transfer and back up utility for my sutomers PCs. I just want to make sure that Im not breaking the terms of usage. So if I buy the program for 1 PC home user and use it in this manner, meaning, use t to transfer and back up data for my sutomers PCs, would that be breaking the terms? If so, what would I do to be able to do this? I see a ton of other professionals using the software off USB doing the same for their customers so It must be possible. Ill contact Macrium as weel to see what thier policy is. Thanks. Look forward to the reply

Hello Robert,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis software!

Acronis Standard licensing policy is based on the number of machines which our Software is installed on. For instance, a Windows, Mac or Linux operating system is considered a single "computer", even if multiple operating systems are installed on a single computer.

Standard License (1 machine). A single license is required for installation on a single machine.

Family Pack Licenses (3,5 machines). A single license is required for installation on up to 5 machines within the same household.

Acronis True Image 2016 is the backup solution for Home/Small Offices. We recommend to use Acronis True Image 2016 in the environments of less than 10 machines. For bigger environments we recommend to use Acronis Business products.

Thank you,
