Backup process hangs after encountering an error

Thread needs solution

I can't find a way to cancel an ongoing backup operation after it encounters an error condition, such as running out of space (why it runs out of disk space when there's enough for two full backups? but that's another question). The system tray backup monitor throws up an error message, but the main UI still thinks there's a backup in progress. The Cancel button has no effect, and I can't restart the operation until the computer is rebooted. Is there a workaround that doesn't involve rebooting?

I'm running TrueImage 2015 b6613 on Win7 64.

Hello NoOne,

As workaround you can open Task Manager and stop Acronis processes  (TrueImageHomeService.exe, TrueImage.exe).

Thank you,
