Boot CD does not detect on-board NICs

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I have True Image 11 Home. When booting the PC with the Bootable CD, the screen goes black after the Acronis splash screen. I went into My Account and downloaded build 8101 bootable iso image and made a boot CD with it. Acronis boots all the way into the program, but now my problem is that Acronis does not detect the on-board NICs. They are Intel 82574L NICs. Can you please help?

Hello Dan,

Let me assist you.

Most likely, Acronis True Image 11 Home doesn't have necessary drivers for your NIC or it was detected incorrectly.

I may suggest you to try 'acpi=off noapic' workaround from this forum post.

If it still won't work, please download the trial version of Acronis True Image Home, create a new bootable media and check if your NIC will be detected. The functional limitation of Acronis True Image trial version is that you can only restore and validate an image when you run the program from the bootable media. Windows version is functional for 15 days only and it does not have any more limitations.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you.
