Failed to back up Outlook 2003
Only when Outlook is running, TI Home cannot back up the Outlook pst file. The log includes this: "The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file (0xFFF0)."
Any idea what the other process might be and how to stop it from interfering - if the log entry is correct?

Hello MFL,
Let me shed some light on the issue.
There's an issue with the software, however, our developers are already working to fix it.
There are two possible workarounds:
- Make sure Microsoft Outlook is closed (not running) at the time of the scheduled backup task execution. The backup should then be successful;
- Run the backup manually (i.e. without scheduling it). The backup should then be successful even if Microsoft Outlook is running.
The fix will be available in the next officially released build of Acronis True Image Home 2010.

The puzzling part of the problem is that it happens only to my wife's Outlook pst file. The file is on an external flash drive and the problem occurs on both computers she uses, including one which never had the problem when I backed up my Outlook file on it. I never have had the backup problem with my Outlook file, which is on an external hard drive, regardless of the computer on which I use Outlook.
I had discovered that the problem is avoided by closing Outlook before backup.
