how want to backup my original win xp home with all latest updates

hi.

i have original win xp home sp1 installed on my pc. then i have updates with all the latest updates for it. so, i dont want to do the same thing when want to re-install when my pc have problem (which need to re-format)

can i make recovery backup for my current win xp? how want to do that using ati home v11? please let me know step by step guide. tq

one more, can i copy that recovery win xp to cd if i don't have partition or external hdd?
