Deleted entries reappear in Exclusion Lists

Thread needs solution

I would like to have my Firefox profile and certain other files included in my backups.

To this end I removed the entries for the affected files from the exclusion lists of my backups.

However TI 2017 just recreates the entries.

How can I get them deleted permanently?

I am running Build 8209

Hairy Scot, when you say that Acronis recreates your deleted Exclusions, is this for the same backup task or in other tasks?

If it is for the same backup task then have you saved the changes by clicking on one of the Backup Now options, i.e. Backup Now, Backup in X hours, or Backup Later?  If you don't click on one of these then the changes will not be saved.

Thanks Steve.

What you suggest works for my daily backup but not for nonstop backup.

There is a limitation of only one NSB allowed. I think you'd have to delete that task and create a new one again.

I have in fact done just that and now the files are being backed up.

It would seem that the options for nonstop backup cannot be amended. You have to get them right when creating the task.

Yeah, a few settings are locked in the moment you kick off the backup.  In all backup tasks, NSB or otherwise, the password cannot be modifed, nor can the compression level once it's been set and the backup has been run.
