How to continue backup after losing Internet connection?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I tried to do initial back up for a day and I had to stop it. (157.97GB was backed up out of 212.07GB).

After getting Internet connection in a new location, I tried to resume the backup process.

However, I am getting the following error.

How can I resume the backup process?

Welcome to these user forums.

My understanding is that for Cloud backups, it should attempt to resume the backup process automatically after being interrupted but may take a little time to reestablish the connection to the Cloud access point.

If you continue to have a problem with a Cloud backup, then I would recommend opening a Support Case with Acronis support as they can look at the Cloud servers and check for any error indicators.

Try restarting the computer using the restart option in the power menu then attempt to run the backup again.  The log you posted show a locked file, restarting the computer should correct that problem.
