Working soley with bootable rescue CD.

Thread needs solution

I plan to use Acronis TIH 2009 solely for full image backup/restore via Rescue CD. I have 3 home computers, each with an already existing means of effectively backing up new and modified files. These two backup resources should give me what I want in terms of data protection. My questions about Acronis, used in such manner are:

1) Can a single rescue CD service all 3 computers? (they use exactly the same OS).
2) Are the *.tib image files re-locatable? Can I move them from flash to HD and then restore as needed?

Thanks.

The rescue CD is not unique to a specific computer. It is generic. Legally, you do need 3 licenses as one license per computer is the rule.
Yes, the files can be relocated, but if you do, after relocation, boot from the CD and re-validate to make sure nothing changes in the transfer.
