Restore from 2TB drive with GPT

Thread needs solution

I run ATI 2010 and backup to an external drive. Switched to a new 2TB external RAID0 drive with a small GPT partition and a large NTFS partition. I'm backing up an NTFS system to the NTFS external partition.
First backup works, but incrementals fail, restores fail and browse fails.
I know I'd need the plus pack to backup FROM a GPT drive, but why can't I backup TO one?
Is Plus Pack 2010 the answer, and is it still available?
Would removing the GPT partition solve the problem?

Without the PP I'm pretty sure it won't image to a GPT partition, but I think your problems might deeper than that.

What build of 2010 are you using?

1. Are you saying that as is, TI can make full images to a GPT drive?

2. If full works then certainly I would expect incremental and differential to work also.

3. How have you set up your task, selecting incremental as the imaging mode when setting up the task or have you made a full and now made a new task to increment that full?

4. PP for 2010 won't be available from the online shop, so you'd either need to email sales and see what they can do or see if a local reseller has a boxed version - I know for example the Australian distributor has yet to catch up with the new releases.

5. As GPT partitions can be converted back to MBR then this could be tried, in the meantime before performing that, if you can lay your hands on an external drive formatted with an MBR see if everything burst into life.

6. As browse and restore fail within Windows especially browse, then I suspect soemthing else is not right as well.
