Problem with MVP Advanced Tool
I have used advanced v182 a number of times without problems. Today, I am trying to create a rescue disk on to a SanDisk 64GB flash drive. I did a regular (not quick) format on the drive before starting. All goes well until it gets to the flash drive format step where it gives me the following error:
Failed to Format "K:"; DiskPart errorlevel -2147212243
I have successfully created rescue disks on this computer before except that yesterday I upgraded my system HDD to a SSD, though I can't image that would create a problem (though stranger things have happened).
I have used this USB before but not to try to make it into a rescue disk.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Bob

I appreciate your response.
I bought a USB Flash to get around the problems you described. The ATI MVP Builder looks like it executes without problems but I am still getting a problem when I reboot off the USB Drive - this one different. I have tried on two computers and get the same error. BTW, if it is relevant, both of my computers have been upgraded to Win 10 Build 1803. I have attached a shot of the Blue Screen of Death that comes up when I reboot off the USB.
Note that I have upgraded to the most current ATI2018 (Build 11530).
Note also that I am able to create a simple rescue disk from ATI2018 and the system boots. However I am unable to get ATI to map to my NAS, which is the reason I went to the MVP tool in the first place.
Thanks, Bob

Bob, I have never seen any reports of getting BSOD's for booting from the MVP Customer ATIPE media, and haven't ever encountered such myself.
What options are you using when creating the MVP media using the tool?
Did you take the option to use the Recovery Environment to build the WinPE, or have you got the Windows ADK installed and use that option?
If using the ADK, which version of this do you have?
It could be helpful if you can post the log file from the MVP_ATIPEBuilder_v182\Logs folder which will show what options were taken in the creation process.

Logfile from most recent attempt attached.
BTW, I note that there is no fltsrv.sys file on the USB Boot Disk. Should there be? I find one on my C: drive.

Didn't answer one of your questions. I used the ADK selection. Will try the other now and let you know. The ADK I used is for Build 1803.

Built rescue disk using selection for WinPE. Same error on reboot from USB.

Bob, thanks for the log data, this shows you are using an older ADK, not one that matches your OS build, plus you are injecting drivers from your host computer where one of these gives an error during the DISM process.
Intel(R) Management Engine Interface\oem39.inf: Error - An error occurred. The driver package could not be installed.
From your log:
----------------
ADK INFORMATION:
----------------
Installed: 10.0.10240
From my own log:
----------------
ADK INFORMATION:
----------------
Installed: 10.0.17134
It might be worth running the script again and missing out on the following step:
05-24-2018 15.44.17 Copying drivers from your Windows 64-bit system using Double Driver - USER selected.
This may be one key difference to when you create the Simple media using the Acronis tool.

Steve, I downloaded ADK 1803 (which I thought was the current build), uninstalled the old version and installed the downloaded version, which I thought would do the trick. It had '1803' in the file name so I assumed it was consistent with the current OS build. But when I re-ran the MVP rescue disk creation program, the log told me the same thing it told you - i.e., different versions for the OS and ADK (see sttachment), Not sure why but since I did an offline download of the ADK, I will try again using an online install of the ADK and see if I get the same result you do.
Did you do an online or offline install of the ADK? Since the file title for the ADK includes '1803' in it, which is the current OS Build so I am perplexed. Can you give me a link to make sure I am using the right ADK install program?
Most of the time I love computers but at times like this I hate them. Wish I wasn't so anal in trying to install the most current version of everything.

The BSOD you show above is not a problem. ADK 10240 does not like the digital signatures of many companies (not just Acronis). When you get to the BSOD just hit the F8 key to bring up a menu. Then hit the F7 key to override the signature and the boot will continue successfully.

Thanks guys. Finally got the rescue disk working. A tortuous path. As a generalist, I especially appreciate those of you who have the patience to go deeper and are willing to help those of us who are not.
