PC Freezes up my system when running Acronis Backup !?!?
i've been using acronis for years and am currently running TI 2011 build 5519.
just recently my computer becomes unresponsive while acronis is backing it up. it locks up for about 10 seconds, then works for about 10 seconds, then locks up for 10 seconds, works for 10 seconds, etc, etc.
any ideas as to what is causing this???

Hello Bill,
Thank you very much for posting and welcome to our forum. I will do my best to assist you.
To be honest, we have not tested our software on an SSD hard drive with the "tweaks" you mentioned. Would it be possible to reset your SSD drive to its original state, try a few backups and let me know how our software behaves? If there are no issues, then we will need to investigate this.
Please collect the following reports and contact our Support team:
1. AcronisInfo report.
2. ProcessMonitor logs, let this application run for a minute to capture a couple of those 10 seconds freezes.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

i changed this back to the C drive and it seemed to fix the problem. maybe you can fix this in an update??
Move the “Temp and Tmp” files: Go to \My Computer\\Properties\\Advanced\\Environment Variables\, then highlight the "temp or tmp" depending on which one you’re working on, pick the variable, click edit, and Change the path to another hard drive if they are located on the Solid State with the “Variable Value Field”.
