Scheduled Backups Not Starting Automatically
I recently upgraded to a new computer and re-installed ATI 2018. I've scheduled incremental backups on a daily basis with a new full backup after 5 incrementals.
However ATI is not automatically backing up like it used to on my old machine. Is it because I have to give permission via the User Account Control first and then not close ATI? If that's the case, it means I have to remember to open ATI and give permission every day when I boot up, or else it won't back up automatically.

Thanks, Steve.
I have administrator privileges. So all my questions still apply

This should not / is not needed. All my scheduled ATI tasks will run regardless of not having the ATI GUI open provided that the Acronis Scheduler 2 Service is active.

Is the machine awake at the scheduled backup time? If not, is it configured to wake up or run the job if it's been missed? You may want to check those. Also, re-pick the source and destination again, even if they appear to be the same. Some windows 10 upgrades to the next major revision have resulted in a new recovery partition which changes the disk signature and would require the source to be re-selected. As I'm not sure what has occurred or how things are configured, these are just some suggestions to consider and try. My backups run just fine without having to open Acronis directly and have been that way since I started using it in 2010.
