Will Acronis Trueimage work with Lenovo Rapiddrive ?

Thread needs solution

Lenovo has an interesting option on some of the Ideapad models called rapiddrive that combines an SSD drive with a a hard drive to make the system very fast by placing the most used files on the SSD but having the large capacity Hard drive as well. From what I have read, it appears to the user as a single drive. I was wondering if anyone has tried to use Acronis True Image Home on one of these systems or if Acronis supports that type of systems. The OS would be Windows 7.

I doubt. If you can't even install W7 on it from its DVD ....

Probably it uses some custom driver similar to those RAID drivers that are required to be installed before windows install start, and this driver sdoes all the work of rerranging the data between spinning drive and SSD. Maybe it can work somehow in windows, but not from bootable media.
