Clone Not Booting Win10

Thread needs solution

I created a clone to a new SSD of Win10 and it will not boot after updating bios on boot order and I removed the old win10 drive. I used a free clone software and it worked fine. Is there a bug?

Chris, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but too little information provided to understand why your clone using Acronis didn't result in a bootable system?

What version of ATI did you use for the clone?  Was it ATI 2019 per this forum?

How did you perform the clone?  Did you do this from within Windows, or using Acronis rescue media to boot the computer?

What type of drives were involved in the clone operation?  Were they both of the same type, i.e. both SATA drives, or were different types of drives involved, such as SATA to NVMe etc?

Which particular free clone software did you use that worked for you?  Was this Macrium Reflect, MiniTool Partition Wizard or ShadowMaker, or other?
