Have I created my bootable media correctly? Am I ready to Recover if needed?
I was unable to create the bootable cd using the Acronis Bootable Media Builder. I chose Windows PE for the bootable media type, downloaded the Windows PE2.1 ISO file, put it in a directory on my server, and using the Bootable Media Builder I pointed to the ISO file and got an error stating the WinPE files were not found. I did not try anything past that point so I could have missed something.
So I downloaded the ISO image from my account on the Acronis website for B&R 10 for Windows Servers. Using my laptop I burned the ISO file to a DVD with Roxio, booted my laptop to the newly created bootable media and it did work. I booted into the Acronis 10 Backup and Recovery GUI. Is this all I need to recover my server from an external USB drive if I ever need to? I did a full backup of my sever and saved the image to the external drive. Or do I need to add Universal Restore to the image? If so how?
I guess I don't fully understand the need for Universal Recovery if you can restore without it. I have it and it is installed on my Windows server. But if I can restore a server using the Backup and Recovery tools I am satisfied with that.

So is the image I downloaded from the Acronis website and burned to a DVD, the ISO file, the same thing that is created from the Bootable Media Builder? I am trying to determine if I need to go through all the steps of creating the bootable media through the actual software.

There is a technical difference between the CD the rescue media makes and the ISO version.
The difference is that the ISO version uses a different Linux kernel to the inbuilt one with ABR10, and will often have more recent drivers included.
