Sync icon missing in system tray.

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Ever since the first version of Acronis 2020, the sync icon has been missing from the system tray. I just looked at the manual and it says the icon should be there. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

Anyone else know how to restore the sync icon?

Thanks in advance

Brad, where in the manual are you seeing that it says a system tray icon will be shown for sync activity?

The only mention that I see is for icons on individual items being synced to show the status of activity.

I do not see any system tray icon other than the new combined notification listing of backup activities etc with ATI 2020.

In my sync task, I just see information shown at the top of the page telling me when the sync was 'Last updated' and 'Size' of data synced.

I think it's here under "The notification area ... Sync state icons".

Notification area icons must have the Win 10 Settings in System- Notifications "Get notifications for apps and other senders" turned on.
