Not happy with True Image Home 2011 interface.

Thread needs solution

To me TI Home 2010 was perfect. The interface was clear and made sense. I upgraded to 2011 because I had purchased a laptop with Windows 7 and wanted to make certain there was good integration with TI Home. However, Acronis decided to overhaul the entire interface into something that makes no sense at all and where trying to find backup options is extremely difficult and time consuming. This seems to be a common problem with software manufacturers who believe that change for the sake of change is good. They have a perfect or near perfect product but feel the need to bring out a new version every year even though they have run out of new ideas to improve the functionality of their software. So, to make it look as though they have done more than they have, they change the interface into something that no longer helps the user. It appears that I am not the only one who dislikes the 2011 interface. I hope Acronis will consider returning to the 2010 interface on the next version.
