Hello Yuan Cheng Chen,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

The source of the issue is lack of drivers under Acronis bootable disc. I have checked your account and found registered Acronis True Image 11 Home. I sent you a special ISO image of Acronis bootable disc based on ISOLinux loader via PM, this ISO has better hardware support than usual one and it will certainly solve the issue you experience.

I may also recommend you to download free trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2010, create Acronis bootable disc and check it’s functionality. There is backward compatibility between Acronis True Image 11 Home and Acronis True Image Home 2010, so you will be able to restore images. Later you can purchase an upgrade just for $29.99 using our online store.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

I've got the same problem with the latest True Image 11 rescue CD that I had created. It's failing right at the Acronis Loader with "No configuration file present". I can't even get to the graphical interface where I should press F11 to provide additional options (like noacpi). This is on a new laptop with SATA disks. Would it be possible to get the link to the ISOLINUX cd for TI11 as well?

Thanks,
Christian

Hallo Dmitry,
I have the same problem with Tru Image Home 10.
Please, could you also send me the special ISO image of Acronis bootable disc based on ISOLinux loader?
To PM or:

Thanks
Guenter

Help me please.

I have several versions of Acronis TI, as I always buy a new one for each new computer. My problem is that I tried to restore an image from my Windows Vista Media centre that I had just place on a hard drive using Acronis True Image 11 Home. However, I get the message "Acronis loader: No configuration file present. Press to reboot. Everytime I press enter I get to the same message, and now I am stuck!

I tried putting the Acronis True Image 11 boot disc in the CD drive, but that makes no difference. I even tried my Acronis True Image Home 10 rescue disc from my other computer. Same result.

Can you help me? The computer is a Medion 5389 desktop computer running Windows VISTA. Is there another Boot disc that you can send me?

Thank you very much.

Patrick.

Hi Patrick
Do you have ATI 10 and 11 or 2010 and 2011. The numbering scheme changed a few years ago, Using the old scheme we are up to 13 and 14.

In any event, assuming you have registered your versions, download the bootable media from your account, burn the ISO and try to boot.

Yes, it is Acronis True Image 11 that I am having problems with. As it happens, I also have bought True Image 2011 and I have that installed on my new Windows 7 computer. Yes I am registered for both of these, but where do I find this bootable media iso? You say download from your account, but I do not see it.

thanks,

Patrick

Hi Patrick
After you register your ATI 2011, it will be listed in your Account under ATI 2011 "Bootable Media"

Please NOTE: You must set up account with name and password, click on register and input you serial number

Thanks heaps, I found it.

I have downloaded the iso and I will burn and try it later after I have had some sleep. I can't take anymore dissappointment at 1:30 am.

Heres hoping.

All sorted now.

The key was to press delete at startup and get into bios where I changed the first boot source from "removable media" to CD-ROM. then the new bootable media disc that you pointed to did its job and I got into restore.

Thank you so much for your help, Joe. I have a working Media Centre again.

Patrick

Hi there,

I am not able to boot my Windows XP system from the Acronis True Image Rescue CD.
The message is "No configuration file present, press Enter to reboot". My version of True Image is "TrueImage11.8105_s_de".

Please, send me the link to a working ISO image of an Acronis bootable disc.

THX in advance,
Niki

Niki
How did you burn the ISO image? Did you use IMGburn?

Niki,
Login to your Acronis registration link (top right corner of this webpage) and go to the area displaying the serial number to your version. Under the bootble media sectin, you can originate the download. Burn this as an image onto a CD using ImgBurn or other burn program which will burn an image onto the CD. This becomes an alternate TI Rescue CD with more uptodte drivers.

Click on my signature link below and check index item #2-F and 2-G.

Addendum: Sorry JoeG, I was not aware of your posting #12.

Hello,

I do also have the same issue: I have True Image Home 11 and can't boot from the rescue media with the message "No configuraton file present".
I have already recreated the CD with no effect.
And I can boot other machines with that CD.
I've read that there seems to be an improved ISO.

How can I get it?

Thanks!

Simply log in to your account and download it and be sure to follow the instructions in the link posted in #12 above
