Error attempting to "delete backup"

When selecting the "delete backup" option on a backup, I received the following error:

Error while opening script file.
[...]
Event code: 0x00900005+0x00040007+0x0000FFF0+0x080070003

Details:
I created a backup by clicking "disk and partition backup". After this, I created another backup by clicking "back up now". To my dismay, this created another full backup.

After creating another backup using a custom scheme including incremental backups (and a higher compression level--which made the backup go faster), I deleted the unwanted full backups, receiving the above error. After responding "ignore" to the error message, I found that the backups were deleted successfully.

I got exactly the same event code(s) (- and furthermore a strange behavior in the log file).
The situation evolved as follows :
- I activated "Update Backup List" - and got a very long list, reflecting my backup storages.
- Deleted the not relevant Backup List items by selecting "Remove from the list".
- Selected "Validate Backup" from the "Operations" menu on one of the items in the backup list
(- an old item which had been functioning OK up to now).
- Now the error ocurred - with event codes :
0x00900005+0x00040007+0x0000FFF0+0x080070003
and the text : "Error while opening script file".
- The two last entries in the log-file is :
. "Priority changed to low."
. "Operation has succeded."
And beware: Both entries time-stamped within the same second !! Normally this validation takes about half an hour - so the last entry ought to have been "Operation has completed with errors". And normally there are a couple of entries in between the above listed - such as "Location: . . . " and "Pending operation started". They were missing (of course).

A couple of minutes later I started the exact same Validation operation (the same backup set) - and this time it went normally, without errors.

Just thought I would tell about this strange behaviour . . .
