Can't take it anymore - what happens to data etc. if uninatall TI 2011 and install TI 2010

Thread needs solution

And why is there not a sticky for that?

When I installed 2011 I had 2010. The install made me real confused about just what was still out there from 2010. And where. There are data sets I do not want deleted. Since idiotic new naming and auto-delete of data when getting rid of scripts now exists; did it rename old sets of tibs?; which, if any, sets of tibs will go away when 2011 and its' new "improved" database tracking system is uninstalled?

Please list the things that will get screwed up.

A retail backup system should not cause fear, confusion, doubt, and early computer game-like quests just to find all of the things you need to know through nonintuitive structures and wordy documentation that frequently leaves you with no useful understanding of what you were trying to find out.

If you uninstall 2011, you will not delete any TIB files. All you tasks and schedule will go away. When you reinstall 2010, you will have to recreate your backup tasks and schedules. You will most likely not be able to restore with 2010 the TIB files that you created with 2011. A way to work around this is to keep a 2011 recovery CD handy.
Before you downgrade, make a backup, just in case you are not happy with something later.
After you have uninstalled 2011, use the Acronis 2011 cleanup utility to get rid of some remnants. Reboot. Install 2010.
