Backup Options in Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office

Thread needs solution

I am getting the following error when trying to change Options on any of my  Backups:

The Knowledge Database has nothing to say about this particular error. 

I called Acronis Support but came upon a totally useless support person who just wasted my time.

The strangest aspect in all of this is every once in a awhile, clicking on Options works just fine.

Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Has anyone any suggestions for a fix?

Jean, sorry but more information is needed to try to understand the issue here?

What type of backup is involved here?  Disks & Partitions or Files & Folders?

What is the Destination for the backup?  Local internal / external drive, Network drive, Acronis Cloud?

Assuming that you are probably backing up to the Acronis Cloud, then are you connected direct to the Internet or going through a Proxy Server or VPN?

The error message is suggesting an internet connection error then see below:

See KB 4350: Acronis Backup to Cloud access ports and hostnames - for details of where all the servers are and what ports they use.

Use the above in conjunction with the Acronis Cloud Connection Verification Tool.

If you still have issues, then please escalate your Support Case with Acronis as they are the only ones with access to the server side of the Cloud support.
