How do you delete the Thousands and Thousands of log files created by Acronis

Thread needs solution

Finder can't even view the folder with the log files because there are so many.

Give the user the option to clean up after the app. 

log files overwhelm the OS.

Steven, give the MVP Assistant a try (the link is in my signature below). The Log View component provides a mechanism to cull out files for deletion. The Acronis app does not do that.

That said, I don't know how the MVP Assistant would react to "thousands and thousands" of log files. How did you get so many? Are they all in one subfolder? How long have you been using the app?

In order to check the logs you can test the MVP tool as suggested by BrunoC.

If after that you confirm the logs are oversized and causing issues in the operating system you should contact our support line in order to investigate the issue, because that's not an expected behavior.
