Seagate DiscWizard and True Image Home
In risposta a Seagate di truwrikodrorow…

I had TIH 2010 for years on An XP sp3 running beautifully...
Tried Seagate Diskwizard and TIH and Easy Migrate disappeared!
I would love to get rid of Diskwizard, and reinstall TIH 2010- but have tried
TIH removal tool ( should I tick y to "remove large capacity disk" )
In registry-there are three relevant keys-can I remove two and leave the third? (No relaxant entries in upper or lower ...)
Is hijack this any use to find Disk wizard entries?
So far, totally failed to reinstall my favourite TIH 2010...!
On a clone, TIH2015 runs very very slowly-six hours-any idea what's wrong??? Low level drivers conflict?
A definitive answer would be great!
Many thanks

Hi!
Have you already followed instructions from https://kb.acronis.com/content/40366 ?
If you are using a drive greater than 2TB on older hardware, then the Extended Capacity Manager driver may have been loaded to see the capacity of the drive beyond 2TB. If this is the case, then if you remove the Extended Capacity Manager driver, you will only see max 2 TB of the entire drive. This driver can be also downloaded from the following article https://kb.acronis.com/content/38937

Jesus! The original post for this thread was twelve years ago, and this sort of thing is still happening! I just tried downloading Seagate DiscWizard to copy my drive onto a Seagate SSD, and to my surprise, suddenly Acronis True Image for Western Digital had disappeared! Along with the information that allows me to access my cloned drive on my SanDisk SSD! This is nuts.

I would expect that to happen, as Seagate DiscWizard seems to be an OEM product produced by Acronis. It is, if you will forgive the pun, a clone of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office/ATI. Only one version of ATI can reside on a PC. However, there really should be a warning to users about uninstalling the existing version.
On the problem you are having, what you need to do is to add the backup into whatever Acronis program you are using. Open the "Acronis" Windows application, and left-hand side and the bottom there is a line with "+ Add backup", to the right there is what looks like an inverted V, click on it and you will see "Add existing backup", click on it and navigate to the location of your backups. Unless you have saved you configuration, you will need to reconfigure each backup.
