Resources (VM) plus their disk usage
Hi,
I would like to get a list of resources (type resource.machine) plus the amount of diskspace used by this VM. This is for billing. The reports endpoint does not fit our needs because it's missing resources and we have to find another way.
The first part is easy, I was thinking of using the "{{base_url}}/api/resource_management/v4/resources&type=resource.machine" endpoint to get all the information. And indeed it gives me the information I want but i'm missing the amount of GBs in use.
I waded through the difference API documentation but I really cannot find it, could anyone point me to the right direction?

Hi Jose,
Thanks for the answer.
But to my knowledge the report functions only show the total space in use. And NOT per resource. eg. Let's say I have 10 VM's I want to see PER VM what they are using.

Yes.
The same goes for both. There aren't reports of usage per device ( as far as I can see ). The only usage reports you can get are for a period and they include all the usage of all the devices in a specific tenant.

A kind of report that will contain the service usage metrics for each day of the specified period. |
|
A kind of report that will contain the service usage metrics for the end of the specified period, and the difference between the metrics in the beginning and at the end of the specified period. |
|
A kind of report that will contain the current service usage metrics for the previous day. The usage metrics are calculated within each of the child tenants’ billing periods. If the tenants included in the report have different billing periods, the parent tenant’s usage may differ from the sum of the child tenants’ usages. |

A kind of report that will contain the service usage metrics and their changes for each day of the specified period. |
But as mentioned above you can contact our support and confirm this information and check if there is any workaround ( even if that possibility is remote ): https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153
Thanks.

Hi,
Just FYI. It seems not be possible with the public cloud api. But Acronis told me they have an internal task (ABR-135168) which should add this. ETA unknown.

Hello!
Thank you for updating this thread.
In fact, there is a feature request. Hopefully, it will be implemented as soon as possible.
Best regards.
