Try and Decide does not hold after reboot

Of late when i put my system drive under Try and decide and then reboot i find that the drive is not in try and decide mode upon reboot. Yet the Acronis Loader screen does come up to ask me whether to continue in this mode or discard all changes and boot into windows

How did this happen all of a sudden when all was fine till yesterday and what can i do about this issue. Uninstall (with recommended cleanup utility) and a clean reinstall did not work!

Another thing is that though T&D is not in force after reboot i am presented with the acronis loader screen (Continue or discard) on subsequent bootups until i say discard (it does;nt do any discarding and all changes are already committed)
