Issue with filenaming

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I have an issue with filenaming when defining backup names.

For instance, if I specify as backup name :
@machine@-Datapart1 (D)-@date@-@exec@
then, after closing the file requester, the following name is displayed :
-Datapart1 (D)--

Backup are created with the right name, but the displayed name is confusing. And if I reopen the file requester for the destination, after having relaunched ATI, just
-Datapart1 (D)--
is displayed.

I am running Win7 x64 and ATI H 11 build 6868

This is "normal" behavior. If I were you, I would not use tags in the name. I have experienced issues in some corner cases with these tags where ATI will get lost and the tags become inactive (you end up with @date@backup(1)2.tib instead of the actual date and no (1)2 suffixes at the end).

If you have a simple backup chain, they work.

Put them at the beginning of the name though.

You can change the name of the task. Click on the blue "operations" link, edit backup settings and edit the taks name there. This will not change the file name.
