[ABR11] xml file in .tib directory

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Can you please explain me why there are several .xml file in the .tib directory location. Is this something like the old .meta hidden folder ?

Is this a way to prevent .meta corruption ? (for exemple, .meta file can be faulty if you delete .tib file manually) ?

Thanks !

Yes, it's .meta, one xml file per archive.
The obvious solution - don't delete .tib files manually unless it uses "Simplified Archive Naming" ( a.k.a. backup to file)

OK.

But several times I had problem with corrupted .meta.
For example, If your backup destination is full, acronis starts writing data on the target and then modify the .meta files.
The backup task fail (due to low space) but the .meta files remains modifyed ...
