Bootable Media for Multiple Machines

Thread needs solution

I have three licenses for Acronis True Image Home 2011 and use them on 3 different machines all running Windows 7 Home or Pro.

I know I need to have multiple copies of the Bootable Media in case of media failure, but my question is do I need a separate set of bootable media per machine or is one set across all machines OK. I have tested on two of my machines and it appears to work OK using a common bootable media, but I have been unable to find any reference as to whether this is supported / recommended.

Normally all you will need is one rescue CD for any of your licensed machines. Your only problem will be if one of your machines has problems with the Linux based CD. If you find that is so, post the problem here and there may well be either a workaround or the problem solved.

That's right, if the boot disk you made from any of your 2011 machines will boot all three of them, and see your network/external drives, then you are golden.

I have an ancient PC or two that were imaged with ATI7 and have separate boot disks for those.
