Windows 7 Backup und Acronis True Image 2012

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

Markus,

Are you saying that 2012 also shows the Windows Backup and runs the task or that 2012 runs it's task and Windows Backup still runs it's own task?

You can alter the Windows backup schedule by opening Windows Backup and Restore, click on Change Settings and remove the schedule. One other option is to select the option to allow True Image to integrate itself into the Windows OS, which would mean it overrides the Windows Backup settings.

I'm not sure what happens to any schedules you've set up under Windows Backups, whether True Image deletes them, ignores them or takes them over. If it ignores them your problem is solved, if it takes them over by just listing them as backups (it can't use them to make images, unless you convert them from VHD to tib) you cna then just delete the entries in the 2012 task manager, and if it deletes them (the tasks that is) well that depends on whether you want to keep the Windows tasks should you want to go back to using Windows Backup.

To integrate TIH into the OS click on the cog icon and select 'integrate'

When ATI replaces the Win7 backup control panel, the computer keeps the Win 7 backup task (set up in the Windows task scheduler) and the Win7 backup tasks continue.
Users have to remove the integration, change the backup settings, or simply disable the task in the Windows task scheduler.
