Laptops Don't check in with Management Server

Thread needs solution

Some of the machines I have to backup are laptops which the clients take home at night. Upon the return this morning, of the two laptops I have deployed the software on, both show up as offline within the management console. I tried hitting synchronize and that failed to work, and then proceeded to connect directly to each machine, which I did with success. Both machines are DHCP and received new IP's after returning from the weekend.

Has anyone else had to deal with Laptops, or computer that go offline on a daily basis?

AMS recognizes machines via hostname, so the problem might be related to the DNS technical difficulties. Please check whether the target machines are resolved by DNS via hostname and ip-address. If they are, please Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know its number.
