Nonstop backup pausing but never backing up

Thread needs solution

True Image 2011 - Nonstop backup keeps pausing but never backs up.

All process are idle and CPU usage is really low but the Nonstop backup never kicks in.

The only way to make it work is to delete the whole NonStop backup and format the external drive used to store the backup files. Then the Nonstop backup works for a couple of days (everything gets backed up properly) and suddenly resumes pausing and never backing up again (the backup is not updated anymore).

Is there a way to debug what is going on with "hidden" log data in order to try and explain why the backup keeps failing?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is not much to try with Non Stop Backup. It is a bit temperamental. Try to delete the task, the destination folder and start over. If this doesn't work, uninstall, reboot and reinstall ATI.

PS: I don't use NSB as I found it unreliable. If you persist in using it, always make sure you have a disk and partition backup that includes all the partition of your system disk. That backup should never get too old for you to come back to it, in case your NSB doesn't meet your expectations when you really need it.
