Whan backing up files from multiple disks - Backup never complete (File Backup)

Thread needs solution

I downloaded a trial of ATIH build 5545 yesterday. If i backup D:\ everything seems to work, but when i start to add files from other drives the backup "stops" when it's almost done and then it does not complete. Yesterday i waited for 20 minutes and nothing happened so i canceled it myself. I could re-create it when the computer rebooted yesterday and i can re-create it today. The computer was shut off tonight. The backup itself, if it works, should be done within 2 minutes.

If i backup the entire D:\ everything works, but when i start to add some files from H:\ and I:\ the backup never complete. If i add one file from H:\ and one file from I:\ it works, so it seems to be related to the total number of files. (When it don't work it is approx 60 more files added from H:\ and I:\.

And, when i add files in the "Configure file backup progress" dialog it randomly crashes, so saving often is a must...

Yes, i have tried to create a new File Backup from scratch, but the problem is still there.

I want to use only the backup and restore functions of the application, so it is not so promising when those basic functions fails.

I can successfully backup the same files with NovaBackup, so the HDD's are not to blame.

Does any one have an idea or fix for this issue? :)

I have a similar issue, expect that file backup just never completes for me. I let it run all night last PM, and came back to an empty progress bar and the word "calculating...", and it was probably less than 75 gigs to backup.

I'm running it again now with similar results. The progress bar gets about 3/4s of the way done, then it's empty again, and "calculating" appears; and it stays there (it's been that way for about an hour now). I purposely set this one up so it had few files to transfer.

Not sure how to get my log info.

Please help!
