Difference between an Upgrade and a Retail version.

What are the Limitations between Upgrade verses retail?

..if I bought an Upgrade for an earlier version of TI, or if I bought a Retail version? Is it just the price? ..and of course the fact that I need to have a registered previous version on file here which I do.

Are my registration serials different?
Are the "install files" different in any way?
Can I use my upgrade serial on a Trial version and a Retail version
etc...
What are the Limitations of an Upgrade version verses retail?

...just curious is all, as I got the sale notice via email that the upgrade is only $19 as compared to Retail being $39

There is no difference in what gets installed. The difference is that entering an upgrade serial number during the installation process may raise a prompt (if the previous version has been uninstalled) requesting entry of the serial number for that previous version.
