Using WD version in mixed system

I want to replace a non-Western Digital master drive with a Western Digital drive, but the cloning operation hangs up and never completes. Will the WD version work OK as long as there is at least one WD disk in the system?

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to you here.

The software is normally tied to the hard drive, so it should work, but it's an OEM version, which means it was modified for the vendor's needs.  You need to contact Western Digital support regarding the question for  more details.
