Placeholders in file names for user-own numbering
TI uses some and well-known scheme for naming the image/backup files.
Is it possible using True Image Home current release to have in the scheme
placeholders for user-own file numbering beside of the TI own numbering?
Both should be separated and unambiguously recognizable.

As Pat has indicated, you can have your own custom name which must be created as part of the task but once task has been run, the user cannot change the name otherwise future backups will fail.
Figure 8 inside the link shows where the custom name can be created. The program will add 2 or 3 characters to the end of the file name.

I know, I have place my own numberings in the head of file name. And I have to leave the tail of file name for TI own purposes. File name head and tail must be separated by a fixed token, for example "_TI2011backup_".

Ohw, my concept won't work.
Because if splitting backup file is enabled (due to for example file size exceeded) the TI places
numbers of backup parts in the tail of file name.
I want to number the backup jobs.
If some job has produced several files due to splitting,
these are numbered by TI. But I need to have at some place of backup file name a number which indicates the job.
Yet another placeholder is used to identify/number backup series/family (full + differential/incremental) but this works
very well.

Many of your questions can only be answered by an actual test. This example should answer most of your questions as it relates to file numbering. If not, you have the basis for more testing.
The first picture is the storage folder after task run #6.
The second picture covers the task run 7--12.
The third picture is after task run 13.
The very small size files are the differentials.
