All clients are removed "..it is already registered with a different server" periodically

Thread needs solution

Every once in a while (about 4-6 weeks) all of my ABR10AW clients are removed from the management server (greyed out).

In the log (translation from german) there are entries like " is foreign." " is already registered on a different Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Server".

Nothing has been changed in the meantime. The common windows patches are applied, reboots... the server (but not necessarily all clients) are members of a W2k3 AD domain.

This is really frustrating. If I remove and re-add the clients, they work again for the mentioned period of time. Then they're disconnected again. This happened twice now, so it is a bug.

Do you have any idea?

Server is 10.0.13762 and all clients also.

Wasn't able to find anything related to this in the KBs.

thank you for reporting about the problem.

We indeed had such an issue with one of the first builds of ABR10, but it was resolved shortly in the newer updates.

This situation may occur when AMS synchronizes with the Agent, but the Agent doesn't recognize it: the AMS ID which is stored in the registry of AMS machine differs from the AMS ID, which the Agent stores (and which also stored on the AMS machine). Could you please send us Acronis System Report from the AMS machine and couple of greyed out Agents? Our Development would like to look into the matter.

Is there a solution for this matter ?

Where should I send the reports? Is there some kind of ticket system here?
I want to have a number to file this issue under.

i opened a ticket. The support already helped me.
However, nothing says it won't happen again.

As mentioned, this happened to me every month. Let's hope it won't happen for you then..
