Why can't I select more than one folder to delete from online backup?

It's a real pain to clean up online backup. One thing that is particularly troublesome is that I cannot select more than one folder to delete from the backup at a time. This is compounded by the fact that each item I delete takes about 15 (or more) minutes to complete. This is a horrible user interface. Why can't I do this?

Did you find an solution to this problem? Furthermore, when I delete folders from an old online backup, the system seems to just add ANOTHER backup,rather than modifying the existing backup. Thanks.

No, never got any more info.

My account also suffers from bloat I couldn't delete. I had used up 250GB of space, but only had about 60GB backed up. How to clean it up?
