e-mail backup other than Outlook

Thread needs solution

I asked this previously but rec'd no reply.
How can I backup the Thunderbird directories containing it's email settings and mailboxes. These are stored, in Win 7 Ultimate x64, in c:\Users\MyName\AppData\Mozilla etc.etc. Although I can access these files in Total Commander (which I use in place of Windows Explorer), these subdirectories do not show in the TI directory tree.

Same for the Firefox directories. How can I back them up in an incremental chain?

If you make a partition or disk image these will be included. If you are making a files and folders backup, are the Thunderbird folders hidden folders?

Hello,

yes normaly you can't see the Thunderbird directories.
They are hidden.

You have to select the folder options => display all files/folders.

C:\Users\"YOUR USERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\"YOUR THUNDERBIRD-PROFILENAME".default\

Here are all your Thunderbird Data.

Answers are not clear to this newbie. Are Thunderbird e-mails able to be backed up by Acronis 2011 in disk/partition back up?

Yes they are. It is only a files and folders backup where you have to do some extra work.
