Hardware ID Change and reactivation

I bought boxed version Acronis True Image Home 2012 with a license. I transferred my license from old computer to new computer using the procedure in the article. Reactivation was successful. I was able back up my new computer without any problem. My old computer has motherboard problem so it it is disconnected and I don't use it. Now three weeks later, every time I turn my new computer on, I see pop up at the window status bar with message " hardware change activate now". If I click on it, a browser window does not activate the license. It just stays there with bar indicating it is trying to connect activation server. Why do I need to activate again and why doesn't it activate. Is activation server down for two days?
