11.5 workstation validation progress bar not advancing
The validation progress bar is not advancing from 0% although there appears to be disk activity. Is this a known problem and has it been fixed in the latest version?
Also, I just upgraded to version 11.5 from version 10, but it has installed 11.5.32256, and when I check for updates in "About" it says this is the latest version, but the release version appears to higher on the web site. Why wasn't the latest version downloaded?
I used to have greate faith in Acronis. Now I'm getting worried. :-(
This sounds similar to the problem we are having. We updated from version 10 to 11.5 yesterday (Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Workstation). The validation progress bar is not advancing from 0% but there appears to be NO activity at all). Our current build is 32256. Are you saying that we need to upgrade to build 32308 (or should our current build work)? Thanks
The bug I was referring to is only about displayed validation progress, while validation itself performs normally. It is not fixed in 'hotfix' builds of 11.5 such as 32266 and 32308. It will be fixed in the next released build , "Update 0".
If in your case validation is not performed at all and there is no activity in the location where backups are stored (e.g. no network or disk activity), it's a different issue , and it's not a 'known issue', as validation generally works. If you decide to contact support with it, they will first recommend you to upgrade to the latest current build, 32308.
