Backup fails due to VSS on Windows 7 (and also windows 2003 server) machine.

Thread needs solution

Backup fails due to a VSS error (see below).
I already removed all system restore points and set the maxium of the system restore to 100 GB.

The only why to succeed is to turn off VSS.

I've collected the AcronisInfo nut no able to attach to this forum because of his size (28MB) while 15MB is the larges size accepted.

Try changing the VSS server, you will see you have a number to choose from, try using the Acronis one.

Acronis VSS service will succeed, but to backup the Exchange Server Information Store Microsoft VSS is needed.

I haven't used Exchange Server much, what happens if you suspend transactions and then re-enable them after ABR11.5 has finished?

I wonder if you actually need the ABR11.5 Exchange Server product, I think you will need to raise a support ticket as I'm out of my depth on this one.
