Failed to connect to the storage node

Thread needs solution

The other day I restarted my server and when it came back online, I was unable to get the acronis services to start. I followed steps outlined in in the forums such as running the files to start the services, and a couple others. I finally came across a knowledge base which indicated that I should uninstall and reinstall the product. I uninstalled it and was unable to reinstall it. I contacted support and had a remote session started. The support tech advised me to do the free upgrade to version 11.5. The product was installed, but would not successfully run, a total of 3 or 4 times before finally installing correctly. However, when it came online, it referenced an old centralized vault location. I was told that I should create a personal vault and that I would be able to access my existing vault. First, I am unable to access my data. Second, why am I unable to remove the vault as referenced here: http://kb.acronis.com/content/30856 (30856: Acronis Backup & Recovery 11/11.5: "Failed to connect to the storage node" ). I have an additional backup solution but I would like to get this one up and running for redundancy.
