Failed to update and reinstall

Thread needs solution

Hello to all.
We have an backup server with acronis b&r 11.5 management server. I want to update it to latest build but i can't use asm and ams users account bcs i don't know its passwords, so i reset its password and on update get error: "Can not open ADO connection 30 times"
So i'll remove all acronis components from server exclude license server, backup and delete all acronis databases from sql server.
Now i change installation and add components to it (management server, cmdline util and so on). Installation completed w/o any error, but AMS Service start and after 10 mins stop.
I found it's log in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\AMS\Logs dir and there is the same error:

event id="2" level="4" module="185" code="15" time="1408611974" message="Failed to initialize component "CentralizedMachineManager"." $module = "management_server_vs_38774" line_tag="0x27FBB047D6CE055B" hide="1" />
event id="3" level="4" module="127" code="16" time="1408611974" message="Can not open ADO connection 30 times" $module = "management_server_vs_38774" line_tag="0xC131F5921FF773F4" hide="1" />
event id="4" level="4" module="127" code="4060" time="1408611974" message="Cannot open database "acronis_cms" requested by the login. The login failed." $module = "management_server_vs_38774" line_tag="0xC131F5921FF773F0" hide="1" />

We have localized version, so i change some messages to english.
What login/password combination it's use? I know ams user password and in SQL Server Management Studio in Security-Logins i see ams user wich autenticates by windows and he is owner of all acronis's databases.

Problem solved.
When i first uninstall AMS it's delete ams's user account from windows, but not from sql. So i get windows sql account with no linked windows account, but on installation acronis used this no linked account to take it owner of it's databases.

Hello, thank you for your feedback, and nice to hear that the issue has been resolved.
I will pass this information to our Quality Assurance team so that they can reproduce the situation and if it is a bug, we would definitely need to fix it.

BTW, in future to update Acronis Backup to some new build you don't need the Acronis users' credentials. Installation over the existing environment should go just fine.
