'once later' scheme persists hours (days?) after backup completes

Thread needs solution

We run AcronisBackupAdvanced_11.5_43994_en-US backups nightly, independently on two Thinkpads running Windows 10 x64 TH2 Update, with separate licences, at 2 am, which typically completes fine within a few minutes.

However, recently,  perhaps after the Windows TH2 update, even at 8 am, hours after completions, we both still see a spinning tray icon. Hovering the mouse over the icon shows
"Task 'incremental backup (once later scheme)' is running."

When we open up the console, we indeed see a running job under our only backup plan.  The Status is "OK" and the Execution state caries from 95% to 100%.  Today it is 100% and the icon is still in the tray and spinning.  Clicking on the red square "Stop" does nothing.

A search gave me Acronis documentation
http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ABR10/index.html#757…
which shows this option -- but do not see this at all in our backup options.

I have tried ending the tray and running Acronis and rebooted.  However, the next day the problem reappears on BOTH PCs??

I want to turn OFF this "once later scheme"!

Hello Lester,

Could you open the details of the running backup plan in the console and check the activity that is shown as running?

Thank you.
