Recovery task stuck needing interation
Hi
I created a virtual machine with a fresh install of Windows and the Acronis Agent deployed to it. A restore was ran, using a disk archive and directed at this machine. Upon completion the virtual machine rebooted. The restore was of a machine that was already on the network. Due to this I quickly updated the network adapter in VMWare Workstation to host only as I feared it would affect the operation of the physical machine on the network.
The restore was successful, however, on the management server I now have a recovery task that states it needs interaction. When you open the task to see what is required, it appers it is trying to connect to fresh vm before the restore was conducted.
How would I stop this task?
I have tried stopping and starting all Acronis related services and rebooted the server. Neither of which have worked and the task still remains.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
The restoration task was conducted on a server going by one name. The machine that was actually restored to it, went by another. The Management Server therefore attempts to connect to a server that no longer resides on the network. It is therefore not possible for me to connect to the agent it refers to.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Anthony,
If this server is no longer available or relevant, you can simply remove the agent from your Management Server, which should remove all the running tasks etc. associated with it.
