Restore Server with BootCd from StorageNode Depot

Hello,

got an Question. We have Single Server with Essentials Lizenz. We Backup on Job only Files and one Job Image to an external USB Drive. The USB Folders are configured in the StorageNode on Server self.

My Question. Is it posible to restore the Server when it is defect with an Boot CD and the USB Disk which hold the Data from StorageNode.

This not good practice to backup data of same server through storage node installed. storage node should be created in Backup server where you need to store backup in large networks. In this case please backup your files directly to USB(external HDD) storage without storage node. As you are not backup entire partitions in case of crash you need to load os and acronis app and then you can recover data from USB.

If still configure vault in storage node please attach and then go for restore after loading OS and Acronis
