Semi-automate restore
Hello,
I am trying to restore a computer lab of ~35 computers from a single image, they will all be formatted and they are all the same model.
Is there a way to automate the restore with either acronis 11.5 or true image home 2012 so that we won't need to go through a lot of menu options?
I remember ghost could read an answer file from a boot disk and then restore from a ghostcast server. I would use snap deploy but the cost is a little steep for this scale.

Fedor Larin wrote:Acronis Backup cost is even more steep than that of Snap Deploy if you plan to use a license per each machine (as license agreement requires). If you create a WinPE-based media you can start from a custom .wim file where you place a .cmd file invoking acrocmd (included in bootable media too) with necessary arguments, and run it in WinPE command prompt when media boots.
Ok, thanks for the help. Will this work under the new dism (which is the windows 8+windows 7 replacement for the windows 7 aik)?

Yes, it is compatible with Windows 8.1 ADK since build 37975.
